Daniel Vargas founded City on a Hill in 2007, carrying forward a trade passed down from his father, Carlos Vargas, who spent over 35 years in the painting industry. Daniel grew up working alongside his father, learning painting, drywall, carpentry, texture work, and more from the ground up. That deep, multi-trade foundation is what sets City on a Hill apart.

Today, City on a Hill serves homeowners and property managers across San Antonio, Boerne, Kendall County, and Fair Oaks. Our team handles interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, carpentry, decks, fencing, siding, tile, bath remodels, and commercial painting — all under one roof, with one point of contact.
